It depends on how you are presenting your information. If it is an organized list of multiple truths, then use the plural.  If it is a more general discussion of various factors, then use the uncountable. The latter is the usual.

I'm definitely going for a long list of what I believe to truths. I thought that was the answer but appreciate the explanation.
