Now something that can have some practical usage:

Imagine I've just baked some cookies. Wink [;)] I want to offer some to my sister and now I'm holding out the plate. What can I say?

Try some (of these cookies). --> I would say this...
Have some. --> ...or maybe this.
Take some. --> I wouldn't say it, though I think it can be said.
Grab some. --> Sounds too "rude" to me.

Are the above sentences correct? Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

If you are a native speaker and find any grammar or stylistic mistakes in my posts, don't hesitate to tell me! I will really appreciate that.

The first three sound OK to me.  If I wanted to be polite, I wouldn't use the last expression (grab).

Also common:

Would you like some cookies (or a cookie)?

Do you want some cookies (or a cookie)?

I'm not sure I approve of wasting good food on a family member.

Are you sure? Please note it was me who did the baking in the example. Wink [;)]
