Hi,

I am trying to remember two words. One means "to jump when a woman is putting on pentyhose." The other is a bit trickier as I don't remember its exact meaning, but I do remember the second part of the word, and possibly the first. The second part of the word is "***," the first part is something like flip, but I am not sure that's it. Are there any other words that sound similar to "flip ***?"
Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi,

I am trying to remember two words. One means "to jump when a woman is putting on pentyhose." I guess one of our female helpers will comment.

Meanwhile, I agree that I would certainly jump if I got up from this chair, turned around and saw a woman putting on her pantyhose.Embarrassed [:$]

It depends on what the asterisks signify. Something shocking, no doubt!Smile [:)]

'To flip someone the bird ' means, I think, to make an obscene gesture with one finger.

Best wishes, Clive

I've always found it easier to sit when putting on pantyhose rather than trying to jump into them, myself.

Now, the way you jump when your garter snaps up and it feels like someone shot a rubber band at you? That's called "jumping because you've been snapped by a garter and it feels like someone shot a rubber band at you."
