Numbers 1 and 3 are correct. 

Note that the abbreviation 'UFO' starts with a consonant sound:

[PhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhonetic].

If you say 'unidentified flying object', though, the indefinite article is 'an':

[PhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhoneticPhonetic].
