Do you think the two word pairs express a similar relationship?

I don't think so. Acraven person is not worthy of admiration, while a deft person is not awkward.

It seems, Jeff, that you've answered your own question.  The similarity between the pairs, is that in each pair the first element is the opposite of the second element..  Therefore both pairs deal with opposites.
