Dear everybody,

I am translating quite a technical essay, so I am trying to say in English that the area we are talking about "...constitutes a very valuable area, not only because of its geological-mining richness, but as well for its..."

so, here comes my question:

If the area is very rich in geological as well as mining aspects, can I made 1 word made with both terms and say geological-mining? Or does it sound bad?

Please, if anybody can tell me if it is gramatically correct or what would be the right term to use here, I would be very pleased.

My advice is to avoid these kind of hyphenated terms. Some people like them because they think they sound important and technical, but really they sound jargon-y and imprecise. Perhaps you might say something like because of its geological features that offer rich potential for mining.
