[Please help urgent] Writing to a person who don't know me

Hello all!

I need to write a letter to someone who don't know me to ask help about my work. How should I start my letter politely?

Could I write like this?

"How are you?

This is Mary. Sorry for writing you so blunt, I read your information on XX website and I'm so impressed about it, it's my pleasure if you don't mind to chat to me about the info."

Please correct me if anything worng, thanks!

Hello Guest,

Well, you've done Ok so far, writing to the forum!

If you now the person's name, start with Dear xxxxxxx

If you don't know their name, and because you have the information from a website, you might write something like this.

"I was very impressed with the information you have on xxxxxx website. I should be pleased to receive more information from you.

Mary xxxxxxxxx
