Is the usage of "as that" in the following context correct?
" The maximum stress occurs at the same location as that observed in sub case 3"

If not, can someone suggest rearranging the sentence or rephrase it?

Yes, it's correct,
It means 
"
The maximum stress occurs at the same location as that location observed in sub case 3".
