In your country, what does it take these days to deserve the label "patriot" and what of what does "anti-patriotism" consist?

Hi,

In my country, we usually don't speak of such things or assign such labels to people. We are patriotic, but such feelings are normally considered personal and private.

Best wishes, Clive

We don't really use words like patriot and patriotism, unless we are talking about the second half of the 19th century, when some wars wars which led to the unification of Italy were fought.
What's more, these words seem to have gained a slightly negative connotation.

In my country you usually see the word patriot in history books, when talking about world wars or old political subjects. Otherwise, you can see patriots in movies.
