Anything is wrong?

I like sports except I do ski.

Your verbs are fine, good job!

However, you've used "except" wrong, unless you don't consider skiing a sport. When you use "except," the second idea needs to conflict with the first. For example: "I don't like sports, except I do ski."

Note that "except" is rarely used in such a circumstance for the common English speaker. Most often you'll hear "I don't like sports, although I do ski" or "I don't like sports, but I do ski."
