Hello all,
I'm a specialist grammar paper with the TEFL. Cany anyone tell me how many verbs are in this sentence? Is it two?
When in Rome, do what the Romans do
Thanks
Cheeke
Yes.
So you are a paper? Are you sure you are not a book? Or a chair? Or a rock?
Best wishes, Clive
I see 2 verbs, don't you?
When (you are) in Rome, (you) do what the Romans do.
(I thought you were counting "are.")
