Yes,
hope, remember and
forget are among those verbs that
are not usually used in the progressive-- remember that most of the
stative verbs have special instances when they can be used 'actively',
and therefore may appear in a progressive form. And
choose is not a state verb anyway-- it is an action; it can easily appear as
have been choosing, etc.
By the way, use the phrase
all due respect only when you are planning to disagree with someone:
With all due respect, I think your design is terrible!
