11.08.07 a Russian cosmonaut from onboard of ISS told about American Cole (not sure about the spelling) who had turned off power supply. He wanted to shoot some photos and switched off everything that emitted light. The temperature dropped to 18,9. Our (Russian) cosmonaut noticed this absolutely accidently: he flew into the American section and saw how dark it was there.

...Associated Press quotes a NASA representative: "The main computer of the American section broke down due to an unidentified reason."

Thanks for identifying the reason, Ant.  (I think it's called "damage control"   -    or concocting a cover story.  Things like that have been done before.)  (*-)) Thinking
