My daughter and I are disagreeing on how and when to use me oar I in a sentance, I swear when I was younger I was taught the way to tell if it were correct was to omit the other person from the sentance to see if it made sence or not...for instance If I said Amandah and I went to the store, that would be correct as oppose to Amandah and me wnt to the store, because If Just I went to the store I would say I went to the store, But if I said Anthony played ball with Amandah and me that would be correct and not Amandah and I because if I ommited Amandah all together I would say Anthony played ball with me not Anthony played ball with I...

Does that make sence and what is Correct or Proper?
