i want to know how to pronounce "vocabulary" because when i look for it in the longman
dictionary they put j on its pronunciation

Most of the dictionaries would give you the pronunciation as above (provided your browser supports the phonetic character set). This is the IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) standard. This means Longman follows IPA. "j" in IPA is a symbolic representation that sounds like  "ye".

N.B: Dont be confused with the alphabet "j", Alphabets are different from symbols.
