One of our company customers asked us to fix the serious bug in the program we support for him. The problem was quite serious and he phoned our developer late at night so that he could immediately look into it.  The guy has coped with it finally and it took him a lot ...

The customer was very happy and sent us the email saying just that: "Way to go to Team!!". I have no idea what it might means, is it some kind of an english idiom?

Thanks.

In general, could someone suggest how should I reply to "thank you" letters.

In general, could someone suggest how should I reply to "thank you" letters.

If you are talking "snail mail", put them on your desk and enjoy looking at them once in a while. They are real "picker uppers".

If you are talking about email letters, you can acknowledge them quickly with a short note of your own if you are thankful for something that they did as well.  But, the emailing has to stop with someone or it becomes endless!  I've sent out plenty of email thank yous and never heard back from that person. I don't really expect a reply from a thank you note.  Or you can simply write back by saying "You're welcome. Thanks for such a kind note. Have a great day!"

I have never seen or heard "Way to go to team!"
It's "Way to go, team!", meaning "Well done, team!"
