Say today were September 4 Sunday. How do you describe the date October 1?

Is it like, "3 weeks from this Saturday" or "3 weeks from Saturday" or "3 weeks from this coming Saturday"?

Any better ways of saying it?

Thanks,

3 weeks from this coming Saturday -- this is the best and most unequivocal.

You might also say (in BrE, at least) "three weeks on Saturday".

MrP,

Very interesting, it's like you put 3 decks of cards 'on' a table. (cf. 3 weeks on Saturday)

Thanks for the reply.
