More power to you, Osse !   I was a  little “***” about the moronic comments myself.

Here is the reality. Many people who are right-wing, or considered somewhat so are constantly bashing the Chinese Government for “human rights” and “creating problems for the US economy” amount other accusations  I am a naturalized US citizen and I have just as much interest to protect the US economy as the natives. Accusations about Chinese factories stealing jobs away from the US is just as smart as believing the next US president is going to do a better job to clean up the system. It's just ludicrous.  Many current problems and crisis faced by the American work force and middle class are created by the greed and special interests of certain groups of entities.  It's a much deeper subject which I don;t want to get started.
Back to the job issus, just to give you an idea, Walmart has 6500 “qualified vendors” which supply the goods for the largest chain of retailing stores.  Rubbermaid, which is a big producer of plastic ware, was put out of business by the competitive pricing squeeze from Walmart. Who did Walmart choose as a replacement vendor?  You figure it out! That’s just one mortar out of the thousands that helped build the Walmart retail empire.  Every consumer wants to pay as little as possible and Walmart has the power to dictate how most American shop and live.  Did the Chinese factories steal the
US jobs from the people? I think not. It’s market economy.  US has its own domestic problems which the government chooses to ignore.  Many cities in the US are on the verge of bankruptcy because of the estimated 20 million illegals, financially eroding the school systems, hospitals, welfare systems, and jail systems.  That’s is that facts and we should be complaining to the politicians for allowing that to happen, instead of creaming “human rights” to each other.  China has undergone many tremendous changes politically and economically from the “red army” era.  We can not judge China with the same Meo mentality. In fact,  I will be very surprised if any young person would hold up a red book, yelling “long live chairman Meo!” today on the street which was a way of life 25 years ago.  My point is, if you have never visited China, or you haven’t been to China in the last 20 years, please renew your thinking and vision toward the new China.  Do not blast words toward something because you see it on CNN or BBC.  Ignorance is dangerous!

You do NOT hear me, guys.

Have you read my post above, Goodman? This thread was aimed to discuss the relation between people's psychological ENEGRY and the NATURE. Not whether Tibet should be part of China or not, and not for discussing how moronic my comments were. If this aim was not clear from the very beginning - I hope now it's clearer.

So if you want to discuss the Tibet/China subject, please do it here and here.

Cheers!

Then why you took China earthquake as example to show your thoughts about the connection between human events and natural events, and blaming Chinese people for that?
I think we all understood you quite well and we were attacking the core or root of your thoughts-- you have kind of hostile to China, and have said rude and offensive words to the Chinese people.

Otherwise, answer this question: If one of your family died of cancer, do you think and speakly openly that he or she had been supposed to die because he or she must have done some evil things so that God have to punish him or her?

Truths are hard to prove, rumors are easy to make.

Ruslana,

<<>> P.S. His nickname is Osee, not Osse. It was a misstype. I realized that after posting it but I didn' bother with correcting it as I was about to get off work Friday.

Recapping my comment in my last post, when I said "moronic comments", I wasn't just saying it to insult you without reasons. The comments honestly deserved to receive the highest level of "stupidity" award. As Osee  and I pointed out, the issue with Tibet was, again, it has been part of China for hundred of years. The movement of a small group of Tibetans against the central governement was a domestic matter which was staged and directed into an international drama by Dila Lama. He wanted Tibet independence and China  wasn't about to let a religious figure to dicate to the central goverment. That's the core and the root of the problem. No matter what the foriegn liberal media progaganda press said, Tibet independence will not happen, just as The U.S. isn't about to allow any state in the union to disassoicate and call for indenpendence. Having said that, natural dissaters happen all over the world. I am not sure how good you are with the geography of China. Because of the turrains much of the of the country is constantly at the mercy of nature, wether it's flooding from the Yellow River or the Yangsze, crippling snow blizards or big earthquakes. The Szechuan earthquake was a tragic event. Many families had only one child because of the central policy. Many lost their onky son or daughter from the biggest quale in recent history and people are still reeling from from the memory or talking about it. What you said was totally inappropriate, but what shouldn't have been said already has done the damage. Just don't make it worse by redressing it.

Osee, IF you're NOT capable of discussing controversal subjects WITHOUT EVILIZING people who disagree with you at some points, you'd better STOP posting in this section.

Just have a look: in these few days you've managed to fight with at least two people (me, and Goodman in another thread), and accused us both in things we didn't really have in mind. If you keep on following this way, sooner or later this may cause a good many personal attacks which mods will have to clean up. So please save time of ours and yours, and refrain from slippery remarks and inappropriate surmises addressed to members whoever they are, - otherwise your posts containing them will be deleted.

Also, just in case, please read Guidelines for Posting in Controversial Subjects that say:

1. Please do not make personal attacks on other members when their views differ from yours. Any such posts will be deleted.
2. Be aware that English Forums welcomes members from all religions and all nations. There are likely to be local conflicts between those religions and nations from time to time. We do not expect members to pursue those conflicts in these forums. We DO EXPECT MEMBERS TO TREAT ALL OTHER MEMBERS COURTEOUSLY AND WITH RESPECT.

I second Ruslana's comments:

I don't think that this thread is going anywhere productive any more, and I ask the participants-- from both sides of the argument-- to abandon it.  Everyone take a deep breath and go talk grammar for a while, please.
