Clinton's campaign says she would be more electable in a general election because she has done well in swing states like Ohio and Pennsylvania, as well as Florida and Michigan, which were stripped of their delegates.

Does this mean delegates in both Florida and Michigan were not counted?

Thanks

That's correct.  They won't have status to vote at the Democratic national convention.  The party is punishing both states for moving up the dates of their primaries, against the wishes of the party big shots.  However, the party has nothing to say about how the votes are counted in November, in the general election.

But if she doesn't win the party's nomination, the election in November is a moot question for her.   It's also debatable how well she did, since Obama's name wasn't on the ballot in at least one of those states.
