Dear anonymous,

I have to say that I'm french and I don't feel"very precious", please, if u met some french people lile that it doesn't mean that all are like that! Secondly regarding the french films, maybe haven't you seen the goods one. OK, there're the trilogie: Les visiteurs. I have to say that I don't like them but can be funny, and I feel quite shame that they are films that some of you speak about here; we all have our own opinion and whateverI may think, yes these are french films. There are so marvellous great film such as Itineraire d'un enfant gaté. This is my favourite one, but there are so much others....
Finally, anonymous, why are u writing that french don't like Turkish, that's this kind of reaction or sentence which is compulsory followed by feelings such as you said. I don't have any kind of thinking on turkish, so please, don't make a generalisation.

Sam

Hi,
definitely Jean Reno is one of our best actors.
Is someone who is not french has ever seen '' l auberge espagnole''?
I watched the following episode this morning and it s the kind of movie which gives you the travel envy.
Something strikes as pleases me in this movie, it s the productor choice of not translating the sentences of english or russian characters.
It gives an international side to the movie.

actually, due to the inheritage stems from the intimacy between France and Ottoman Empire in terms of politics, commercial , military and ensuing cultural, there is a popular French culture in Turkey now, albeit it has been diminished comparing to before.

and even in my class ,there are 5 person out of 30 ,who have a skilled French level although my university is based on English.

as for what i know about France or French Culture, there are some fairy tales???? about Frenchs. i am not sure these tales are spesifically common only in Turkey but they are really interesting.i have always read such things from Internet and heard from friends so i want to learn it from a French.it is commonly said the French people were really so dirty in medieval ages and they had not even bath maybe one in a year and ensuingly the umbrella , parfumes high heeled shoes were invented because of the smell and dirtiness.(you can think what s the relevance between smell and umbrella and shoes but it has another story and it is disgusting so i dont want to share it)i think these are just nonsense but i am not sure.why not?

the mere fact i believe is that although there were hundreds of thousands rooms in Versailles Palace when it was built , it was overlooked to make even a bathroom or toilet room.there were everything in that palace but no bathroom.

anyway, for the time bening i know french people are very clean and well looking.would you mind informing me about these matters?

regards.
