The refusal to tell that one person in the past does not negate the rest of his evidence. I can't imagine I would have chosen one of my teachers to confide in either. Do I believe the allegations or not? I'm keeping an open mind and leaving it to the legal system! He doesn't know what it means to lead a normal life because of his upbringing. He IS weird and his plastic face looks really bad though these court cases smell like they are just out to see if they can get loads of money out of him.
