Hi ur,
I am a vietnamese-american who was born in US. I don't know much about vietnam, vietnamese culture or native vietnamese people. But I do respect and try to learn as much as I can. I think vietnamese people has been overcome so many obstacles to have freedom. The overseas Vietnameses are the most respectful people. I am so proud to be called a vietnamese descent. It's meant so much for me. I love vietnamese foods, my mom always cook for me everytime I head back home from my college.

Dear Everybody,
I have been living in Vietnam for nearly 12 years, and I also know about Vietnamese culture, but not much. To be honest, it takes much time to know about it, it's pretty complicated but very interesting. You know what! Vietnamese people are really very friendly and hospitable. There are still many poor people in Vietnam, even in HCM City ( The richest city in VN). Vietnamese people have suffered many difficulties from the war between US-VN, but Vietnamese people are trying their best to be rich.
There are many rich businessmen and businesswomen in HCM City, but they often have some obstacles about the law, simply because the law is not very clear. Many Vietnamese students want to study abroad ( Singapore, England, Australia and America), and after they have graduated, they do not want to go back to VN, because there are many "difficult to say" things about authorities. VN is growing very fast, but in my opinion it will soon become a rich country in the near future.
These are what I know about VN, but one more thing. in Asia VN is always chose to invest by many foreing companies. In short, there are bad and good things about it, just like other countries.
Best wishes.
