BTW, regarding the red "that", do you think I should use "those" instead of "that" since it is supposed to refer to "hobbieS"? Thanks.

Osee, what was the context? Back in the 70s, there was this fad to have a bar across your doorway and these boots that you could sort of clip to the bar to hang upside down. It was very odd. But I can't imagine that's what you mean!
