Been boppin' my head since '83 (eight years old) when moms bought me the best of the Sugar Hill Gang here on the west side. These are in no particular order.
Dr. Octagon - Kool Keith and the Automator
Midnight Marauders - ATCQ
Paul's Boutique - Beatsie Boys
The Unseen - Quasimoto
De La Soul is Dead - De La Soul
Straight Outta Compton - N.W.A.
Nia - Blackalicious
Madvillainy - Madvillain
Fear of a Black Planet - Public Enemy
Reachin...A New Refutation of Time and Space - Digable Planets.
Now that's an eclectic group of albums.

man, quasimoto? dude is a joke, does he really think that voice is funny? madvillain was good, i wouldnt say the best though, it was too abstract. b-sides, mf DOOM's flow is awkward, nothing seems to fit.
