Hi~
I heard the British call free broadband when they cost no moneny for the service.
and what if we cost some money for the service? what should we call that generally?

I am not sure what you are getting at here.  But maybe you mean, the British call a no cost broadband, "free broadband"
A broadband that costs  money, like in Australia, so much per month, is just "broadband" or "ADSL Broadband"  or "ADSL2 Broadband" .   Just leave the word "free" out of it.
