What Is First Person Narrator and First Person Point Of View?  Is it the same?  What is the difference?

The reason I am asking this question is because I have a question that I need to answer.

If a story is told by a character within the story, this is called:

A. third-person point of view.

B. first-person point of view.

C. using an omniscient narrator.

D. None of the above

I think it is first person narrator, but i don't have that as an answer.  So the next one is first-person point of view and I don't know if they mean the same thing.  Any Help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, MadHatter-- and welcome to English Forums.

Yes I'd say that 1st person narrator = 1st person point of view.

'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master-- that's all.'
