Once upon a time ,and during the early periods of renaissance , a good English man who was chrsitaian visited this land and he was so scared when he saw how people there had begaun to dispense with religion and break with a tradition which had domnated most the aspects of life for centuries; so all what he could do as reaction was to wrrite a good account of what he saw and considered works that would bring curse and wreck on Rome , and warned his English citizens to stay away and never to think of visting that place to avoid an iminent wreck and inevitable perdition. I wonder if that good man were alive now, would he be holding the same view now?! I doubt
I remember I read his story in the story of civilization.
