Does it mean "travel in the future", "travel in the past and the future", "accelerate time", or something else?

Please cite a source or an example.

To bend time means to travel from one point to another on the space-time continuum

which means moving through time and space.

If you watch the famous series " Heroes " , you could know exactly what " bend time " means ...

Check out Hiro Nakamura ...

Enjoy

Hi,

It's a term related to science fiction rathe than to reality.

Possibly You might review Einstein's Theory of Relativity to search for an interpretation.

Best wishes, Clive
