Well... Thank You CJ. You pointed out my mistakes once before and that really helped. I became completely disconnected with the forum for a couple of weeks thats why I am beginning to forget things. Mister Micwber has given me the meaning but still I don't understand how can we use this word in a sentence. Can you tell me?

So, Blanket restriction means restriction on everything that the subject of the sentence or argument is describing.

Hmmm.. I still couldn't get what does that mean.

blanket=unrestricted, universal, unlimited (in such contexts)
