hey, i've been asked to answer a specific question, which reads as follow:

 discuss the FUNCTIONAL ASPECT of trading?

 I would be greatful if someone can clarify simply what is meant by 'functional aspect' of something!!!

I would say "the mechanics" of it   -   how it is carried on    -    how it is accomplished.   How does it work?
