Hj,

PURCHASER may consider as success of Object with inspection document sent by SUPPLIER.

what does this sentence mean? Object here refers to products manufactrured.

As I said in another of your related threads, most of these sentences seem to be very unclearly, and I would even say poorly, written. I don't know what the meaning is, here.

Was the lawyer who wrote this a native speaker of English?

Best wishes, Clive

Thanks for your answer.

I am confused by these sentences. These sentences are from a contract, which was signed between a Japanese company and another company whose origin of nation is uncertain.

I find it difficult to understand this contract.

Thanks again!

Hi,

PURCHASER may consider as success of Object with inspection document sent by SUPPLIER.

what does this sentence mean? Object here refers to products manufactrured.

Lawyers commonly write unclear English, and I guess this problem becomes worse if their first language is not English.Sad [:(]

I think this is the meaning.

The supplier sends the products.

The purchaser inspects them, and sends an inspection report to the supplier.

If the report says that the products are satisfactory, that is a successful end of the transaction.

In other words, the purchaser has control.

This is my opinion. However, I'm not a lawyer.Big Smile [:D]

Hi - I'm also a lawyer, and I agree with Clive (who previously responded to you).  This is very poorly written -- so poorly that I can't understand it myself and certainly can't advise you as to what it means.  I hope the rest of your contract isn't as poorly written as this.

Hi Anonymous,

Thanks for the comment from a lawyer's point of view. I hereby retract my remark that Lawyers commonly write unclear English.Smile [:)]
