Hi,

"Andy loses trust in Tina to forgive her."

What does this sentence mean? Does it mean Andy doesn't want to forgive her?

It's a badly written sentence. I don't know what the "to forgive her" part means.

The sentence is poorly constructed.

Andy's loss of trust in Tina meant he could not forgive her

Andy loses trust in Tina and is unable to forgive her.

it means andy doesnt trust Tina so he's not gonna forgive her
