Never been there, but to me it appears like a country with a rich cultural heritage and history. Lot of old monuments, beautiful architecture, big cities and small villages lost in the countryside...
Of course, famous for pizzas and pastas, and Italian guys are famous for hitting on foreign girls, don't know if it is true but that a well-spread rumor!!!
Italy is close to my country so i hope one day I'll be able to go there and judge by myself.

Nice place for a visit but highly disorganised. People there don't follow rules and the difference is felt if someone comes from a neighbouring country like Switzerland and enters Italy by road. Also one should take extra care of their belongings it they go for a visit to Rome.

Venice,Florence and Milan are very beautiful. May is the best season for a visit. I have enjoyed all my trips to Italy. It is a different kind of European experience.

Since I fell in love with a italian girl, then I just can't stop. I love this country because there was a girl I had truly loved.

There used to be a couple of Italians in our school and we used to get mad when outsiders would stick the same stereotypes to both French & Italians like grumpy old men , sexy women ready to sell themselves, men yelling and making a lot of gestures while talking etc etc...

Some of those stereotypes were way beyond the limits!! Both the Italians and French are also given this stereotype image of being extremely poor in English, that's so not true! I know many people from both countries who are very fluent in English albeit most of them possess a distinctive French & Italian accent even while speaking English.

Oh boy.... To me Italy is the motherland of the most beautiful women in the world. Combine the body of well-shaped "latina" with the face of a beautiful french girl. The final equation is "UNA DONNA ITALIANA". I fell in love with an italian girl, too. They are different and very special and above all there are very honest. Believe me... I've been through some other interacial relationships, and there's nothing like italian girls. Sorry but I had to share this with the world.

Oh, I really love Italy!! At the beginning the reason was a boy Wink [;)] ... but now  after I've learned  more about the country ... can only say that I'm loving it. And the language... so beatiful- I'm teaching it myself since last year. I was only there for four times and I wish to live there after I've finished school. If any Italian people want to tell me something about their country , would be very very  nice (can write me an e-mail).

so see ya soon

your julie
