One of the most beautiful places. Excellent food. Great artistry. A few dishonest shopkeepers in Rome. That happens everywhere. Wonderful to be there in May or June.

Cradle of hundreds of argentinian grandfathers and parents.
It is also a monument of the western civilization and its history.
I would like so much to visit it, but...

...a few people I know went on vacation to Italy and when they came back they told me the people they meet was really ignorant about Argentina and South America in general. They (the italians) asked them if they knew what a cell phone was. They even took them to a 15-story (am I saying it right?) building, so they could "experience" how it was being in a "tall" building.

The Italians are very proud of their heritage. Rightly so. The buildings are inspiring as are their monuments and statues. Regretably we find the misinformed everywhere. One of my employees spent six months in Argentina he is a keen polo player. He loved the place.

I'd love to go to Italy, mainly because of its history. I think it has a lot of character and extremes. The North being very rich and the South a lot poorer. There is always the typical associations of Pizza, Spaghetti, fashion, Roman empire and the Mafia. There is a lot more to it than that.

The first thing that comes to my mind is that Italian women don't shave their armpits. Ladies get those blades out - nothing more unattractive than a woman with a jungle under her arms.

Otherwise, Italy famous for Ferrari, football, fashion, style, culture and passionate people.

Bellisimo, ciao.

I have never been there. But I like the arts there. What impressing me a lot is the frescos in church and its fountains.
