Window-shopping... Interesting expression you taught me here.
Anything that prevented you from entering the pastry shop and indulging yourself ? Are you afraid it won't taste as good as it looks ?

By the way that's one nice thing I can say about France : best pastry in the world (undisputable) and best cuisine as well (that one I can accept to have it challenged though...).

As for me, I liked France very much, not only Paris, but also (and even more) Normandy, its peaceful beautiful towns and villages. As far as the French are concerned, they didn't produce bad impression on me, moreover I met one very charming young man there. Unfortunately, I had to leave the next morning... :-(

maybe it's just a subjective opinion, I just enjoyed the possibility of speaking French (I am enchanted by this language and if not for the forum policy, I would have written it, and much more, in French... :-)

By the way, if there are native French users here, could you advise me an interesting forum where I could communicate in French?

Bien Chère LBTW,
I would therefore suggest you have a look at www.languefrancaise.net... which obviously has a forum policy of encouraging people to express themselves in french Smile [:)].
Otherwise, there's a whole bunch of members in this forum that speak french, even among those who have said nasty things about France and the French in this thread Big Smile [:D]... I guess they are just ashamed to admit it after all the mudslinging they've engaged in Wink [;)].
Waïti.
