EX: suppose a girl is a counsellor in a office but my friend does know  only by name Mary
When he enters into office he ask about Mary .
Then he put a next Question in this way
She is a Counsellor or What? // This style is right or wrong or what the other way to ask about her position.

Hello KK,

Ending with "or what" would be considered a little rude. Try something more like the following:

Is Mary a counselor here?

What is Mary's position here?

Excuse me, could you tell me what Mary's position is here?
