The right one is: I am going to the teachers room.

If your intention is to express that action you are on the way walking to the teachers room.

Hope this helps.

As a note, I am not a native speaker.

Hello, Friends-- what a pleasant screen name to choose!  Welcome to English Forums.

Use I am going to the teacher's room, if your action is immanent; use I go to the teacher's room if it is a repetitive event:

I'm going to the teacher's room as soon as I finish this class.
I go to the teacher's room every day before my first class.

Does this help, Ali?

I am a mom of two children and I live in the US.  The correct way to say it is...

I am going to my teacher's room.

.

You may be a mom, but 'my' seems wrong here, since the room is presumably for all the teachers.  It is a place where they have coffee, relax and discuss their experiences.

I am going to the teacher's room. Emphisis on the "the" before "teacher's," since "teacher" is not a pronoun.

Can you explain the relevance of "teacher" not being a pronoun?

my teacher's room seems equally possible to me, because if it's really for all teachers, then it's the teachers' room, not the teacher's room.
