what are some examples of rhyme? what is ryhme?
There are lots of examples of rhyme but here's a simple one (and appropriate for the holiday!)

Roses are red, Violets are blue, Sugar is sweet; And so are you

blue and you rhyme because they have the same "oo" sound.

When two words sound alike from the stressed vowel to the end of the words, they are said to rhyme.

Here are some rhymes. Every word in each line rhymes with every other in the same line.

take, bake, slake, fake, rake, shake, make, break, steak

creation, elation, nation, commendation, relation, vacation

please, freeze, cheese, tease, fees, trees

torn, born, shorn, corn, morn

June, spoon, noon, dune, balloon, croon, macaroon, loon, moon

oak, poke, stoke, bloke, croak, joke, soak

rattle, battle, tattle, cattle

elect, select, erect, connect, sect, infect, affect, effect

time, rhyme, lime, I'm, crime, thyme, prime, grime

history, mystery
