Spoiled? Well, yes, I never had to shiver by a fire that wouldnt draw, or go without canned *** juice or wild rice. America made me develop new appetites in order to make proper use of the supermarket.

fire that wouldn't draw...???

Hi Ahn,

In the context you provided, It sounded like an unpleasant camping experience. "Fire that won't draw" I believe meant the fire that either didn't get lighted up or burn well enough to produce the heat to keep you comfortably warm.

If you are drawing fire, your are getting burned, like me!Big Smile [:D]

Merriam-Webster's Online Dictionary explains what the intransitive verb "to draw" means in this context:

4 a : to produce a draft <the chimney draws well> <draw on a cigar>
