You're looking for a blooper? Here's one:

(8 years ago) I was complaining to my friends about not being able to sleep at night. But instead of talking about my insomnia, I ended up telling them about my "amnesia".

(about six years ago) I received a call from a researcher wanting some background about coerced betrothals in Asia. But when I relayed the message to my colleagues, I said,"someone wanted to know about forced brothels in Asia."

Just for laughs.
