THIS IS THE SENTENCE. IT WAS NOT UNCOMMON TO SEE BLACK MALES MISTAKEN AS A CRIMINAL. I KNOW I NEED TO TAKE OUT THE "A" AND ADD AN "S" TO CRIMINAL, BUT I CAN'T FIND THE RULE I BROKE.

Hi guest,

The rule of parallel structure or number agreement in object complements-- 'see a male as a criminal' vs 'see males as criminals'. Both should be either singular or plural.
