It's said by Monica in friends.

Hi,

'To get your jollies' means, basically, 'to enjoy, to get pleasure'.

You may or may not know that 'Jaws' is the name of a very popular, scary movie about a killer shark.

Best wishes, Clive

I still can't understand it.
I checked dictionary(http://www.m-w.com/ ) and found the definition bellow:
plural : kicks <get their jollies by reenacting famous murders — H. F. Waters>

jollies means kicks?
How to explain that?

Hi,

A 'kick' is a thrill. Some people get pleasure from the thrill of re-enacting famous murders.

( Such people are often mentally abnormal. )

I remember this episode. It’s in one of the last series.

Monica and Chandler live very far away from each other (New York and Tulsa) despite being married, so they have very few opportunities to enjoy their marriage (if you get what I mean).

Monica decides to visit her husband in Tulsa without any prior notice. When she enters his flat, she immediately understands that he was (mmm … how do I say that? I know the “technical” term – mast… – but it’s probably inappropriate here …) “having pleasure by himself”.

The weird thing is that he was doing that while sitting in front of the TV, and a documentary about sharks was being broadcast … So, Monica believes that Chandler is a type of person able to get his pleasure from watching sharks!

But the truth is that he was watching a porn movie and switched the program when he heard somebody was getting in Smile [:)]

There is no greater pain than to remember a happy time when one is in misery. (Dante)

I cannot speak generally, but in this episode of Friends Monica meant "sexual pleasure".
