When I read some article related to nutrition, I didn't get the meaning of the term.

Like as the title says, I'm wondering the meaning of "weight-for-height".

Could you tell me about the meaning?

In assessing if a person is underweight, correct weight or overweight, there are tables showing relationship of height and build to optimum weight. These show the correct weight for the height of the person.  As examples see here:

Hi,

According to what you have written, you had been reading something about the health nutrition. In this context, term weight-for-height refers to the relation between your weight and your height. For example my height is 185cm, so my weight should have been 85Kg. Then I would have the health weight-for-height factor. Other important element for the computation of weight-for-height factor is your age.
