The Oxford Dictionary lists both Walkmen and Walkmans as plural forms.
Cambridge lists only Walkmans.

All of the dictionaries I checked categorize Walkman as a trademark (thus the capitalization) rather than a "generic noun".

Sony: "The plural form is not `walkmen` or `walkmans` but Walkman personal stereos"

Hi,
So would you say that the singular is not 'a Walkman', but only 'a Walkman personal stereo'?
