I have tried everything to recall that word from my memory, it's just useless. When the identity or the real name of a certain person is unknown, we use a certain name as a substitute. Could you tell me that name?

It’s a difficult question for any man to answer… Whether to follow his dreams no matter what… Or to give in slowly and let life lead you where it will.

Hi Jackson,

Is this the word you're looking for?

John Doe noun
1 US LEGAL a name used in a law court for a person whose real name is kept secret or is not known

A woman would be referred to as Jane Doe.

(If you, like me, are an avid Criminal Minds fan, UnSub might be the word you're looking for.)

Cheers,
NP
