www.grammar-monster.com has a free demo and "an ebook" download for £25.

I have bought it and think it is fantastic. It lives on my desk top and I refer to it constantly.

However, it is primarily for native English speakers who are required to write high-quality English. It is not suitable for students learning English ab initio.

Hope that helps.

for ebooks, maybe you'll try electronic librarries such as Questia..
or these:

Internet Public Library: Reference
http://www.ipl.org/div/subject/browse/ref00.00.00

LibrarySpot.com
http://www.libraryspot.com/
.

Librarians' Index to the Internet
http://lii.org/

Also, do not forget about Gutenberg Project:

This source is also cool: http://www.infomotions.com/mylibrary/

Cheers!

Sorry for being perhaps too late, but I've got a nice site for you - http://www.ebook-search-queen.com/ - this resource works only with ebooks, thus you are likely to find what you need there.
