Hello,
In Invoices, some suppliers mention the Quantity as 5 Tons (for 5000 k.g) whereas some peope printing the same thing as 5 Tonnes.
Which is the correct English ?

Thank you for your help.

The spelling "ton" is typically used to describe a measure of weight equal to 2000 pounds in the US (also called the "short ton") or 2240 pounds in the UK (also called the "long ton"). In contrast, the spelling "tonne" is typically used to describe the metric unit equal to 1000 kilograms. In the case of your invoices, "tonne" seems more appropriate.
