If we are talking about number representation system,

Base ten

Base-ten

Base 10

Base-10

Base of ten

by the way, what is the part of speech for the "base" of "base ten". Is it adjective or noun ?

Thanks.

I would use base 10. When talking about math, it makes more sense to just keep to numerals. Like 101 in binary is 5 in base 10.

Base 10 is a noun, as far as I know.

Thanks for the reply,

I knew that "base 10" as a whole is a noun, but what is the part of speech of "base" only in "base 10" ?
