I agree with u 100% about the fact that underground conqeurs commercial anyday. I agree that mos def has extreme lyrical talent and he is one of the greatest out there and the other rappers are excellent also. But i have 1 question, have u heard Immortal technique??? If u havent go buy 1 of hius albums or download it off limewire or sumthin. He even did a song with Mos Def called "Bin Laden". there are 3 songs u gotta check out of immortal tech.

OK listen Eminem is a great rapper, so is nas but have you ever really listened to jay z he is the best of all time. You need to pay attention to his words, he doesnt only talk about having money and yeah he does brag but he has the right to he is the king of new york and of hip hop itself. alright, biggie and tupac ruled the hip hop world for a while but right now we're talking about the greatest rapper alive and that is Jay Z he is amazing in everything he does. Once bigge, a good friend of jigga's passed away jay z took over and ever since he has been untouchable. Some people posted things about being the hardest? You dont think jay z is hard then go look at some of his older stuff and even now have you heard threats? 50 cent is big and he tlaks about guns and shit but if you put 50 cent next to jay z in his prime i think jay z would be faster to pull the trigger. Dont get me wrong i like 50 but jay z is great his lyrics are sick and if you ask me his clothing line is pretty nice. But besides that he has totally changed the game and the way he flows with the music is unheard of.
All rappers today that everyone thinks is great was inspired by jay z, and that whole nas vs. jay z shit yeah that helped nas get famous. So where would everyone be without him? Eminem was inspired, Game was inspired, Nas and 50 both pretty much used him to get famous by dissing him. So if you like any of them thank Jay z
