I gotta say, to me, 2pac and Ice Cube were the best rappers out in the game. The realest ones. Like mentioned b4, without Cube, there wouldn't be no pac, no biggie, no nas and so on. Cube was the first rapper who opened the door to allow rappers to express themselves without holding anything back. He was the first rapper to take major shots at the FBI, the president and the whole american Goverment and he did it publicaly. "Fuck the Police" was cube's idea and it was one of the most violent forms of music ever heard on the radio next to "Hit Em Up" and "No Vaseline", He wrote the lyrics of it, all the greatest NWA songs were written By Ice Cube. See Cube really enabled Rappers to speak freely, with no limits, the right to express themselves. He wasn't deep like pac was, but he was straight Foward. He didn't preform what most people called "Gangsta Rap", it was more of Political rap, not gangsta shit, he never claimed to be the realest OG around. He was rhyming for young black males who were living life of crime and even asking them to stop the drug deals and smokin blunts. Yea man, Cube went in rough and had alot of bad critics from the cops and the press, but the niggaz were down wit him to the fullest.
As for Pac, hell man he was more than a rapper. He was like a leader to the black nation,
every black, Africans, Afro Americans, Haitians, all of em, He faught for all of uz. He was like Malcom X or Luther King. Just like Cube, He went it Big, but not rough, Pac was deep. Just like Cube, We was real and not holding anyhting Back, But he took rap into a Poetry level. It Wasn't Gangsta Rap, it was thug poetry. Nigga went in real deep, so deep, everyone could feel him. He did it all, violent lyrics, smooth lyrics, every shit possible. Yea word up, Pac was the best rapper out there, dosen't mean in vioce, but in terms of lyrics and how close they came to reality, yea, He was the Illest. Man he and cube were Amerikkka'z most wanted. They both went in fail, and were badly treaten for saying things just the way they were. Shit...
